Test apps integrated with Firebase Crashlytics
App Live enables you to upload and test Android and iOS apps integrated with Firebase Crashlytics. You can use Crashlytics reports generated for app crashes during an App Live test session, to debug and fix issues in your apps.

Android | Devices running Android OS 9 and higher. |
iOS | Devices running iOS 13 and higher. |
Upload or install your Crashlytics integrated app
Prerequisite
Set up and enable Crashlytics in your app by following the procedures defined in Firebase documentation.
You can upload or install your Crashlytics integrated app to App Live using one of the following options:
- Option 1: Upload Crashlytics integrated app
- Option 2: Install app with Firebase dynamic links
Upload app integrated with Crashlytics
- Log in to the App Live dashboard.
- Upload or install your Crashlytics integrated app from the Select Source panel.
- Select the device from the device listing to launch your test session.
Install app with Firebase dynamic links
App Live enables you to install your app on BrowserStack real devices using Firebase dynamic links you have created for your app, as defined in Firebase documentation.
To install your app with dynamic links:
- Log in to App Live, select your device, and launch your test session.
- In the device browser, enter the app dynamic link.
You are directed to App Store or Play Store to install the app, as defined in Firebase documentation.
Debug app using Crashlytics reports
Prerequisite
Upload or install your Crashlytics integrated app.
To debug your app using Crashlytics reports:
- Open your app on the BrowserStack real device, and run your app crash scenario.
If you are setting up Crashlytics in your app for the first time, force test a crash by following the procedure defined in Firebase documentation. - On iOS devices only: Relaunch your app after the crash.
- Open the Crashlytics dashboard in the Firebase console to see your crash report and debug your app.
